History of my keys
In 1992, I created my first PGP key (
0xF6AD325D, waldvoge@nessie.cs.id.ethz.ch). Little did I know then about
the importance of Key
Revocation Certificates (FAQ entry). When the
machine where the key was stored on finally died of old age, there was no way
for me to recover the secret key to either continue using the key or creating
a key revocation
certificate. So this key is still out there in the wild, but no longer
active.
All my other keys (up-to-date copy
from the PGP keyserver database) have been
either correctly revoked or have expired. Please use only the active keys
(work: 0x66625192 (DSS/DH);
home: 0x31EF0322 (DSS/DH),
0x14FB9639 (RSA)).
